So now I’m living comfortably with a a couple of humans, a few dogs, and three colorful smaller birds that are often quite noisy.

Apparently after consulting with a Pigeon group, they were told that since I was friends with the house dogs, if I went wild again I might try to find other canine friends and it wouldn’t end well for me.

Besides, I was in a warm house as the snow started flying, and not only did the humans become my friends, but they have three big dogs that I wanted to be friends with as well! I kept hearing that they’d release me in the spring, but when spring came they decided to keep me around.

When he finally got me out of his jacket, I found myself at his house. Him and his kids got me set up in a huge dog kennel with food and water and places to perch. I thought this would be my prison forever. But I got used to it pretty quickly, and the three humans in the house were very nice.

Fortunately he saw that I couldn’t fly, and he didn’t want me to get squished by another bus, so he picked me up and tucked me into his jacket and took me along on his route. I was a little frightened, but it was nice and warm in there and pretty quickly I settled in and took a nap.
