Been doing the Sydney-Johannesburg Dad commute for almost 12 years.
Over time, I’ve managed to handle the “away from Liv” time better. It’s still not easy, but doesn’t destroy me like before
But from bub to almost young woman, the excitement of seeing her again is the same 🥰

Been doing the Sydney-Johannesburg Dad commute for almost 12 years.

After last week’s four continents in eight days travel and straight back into the Aus routine of gym + golf daily… body plus (non-COVID as tested) chest cold said no overnight 😫
Going to take it easy today with some cold and flu meds and hopefully be right for comp golf Saturday

Played golf after work planning session and 30 hours of travel from London to Sydney. 43 strokes for 10 holes (Moore Park has a front 10) I’m pretty happy with!
Now just the Blue Mountains train home to go and the journey will be complete 😴

Example 374 why 1) public universities are at the top of the worst run organisations in Australia and 2) the entire sector needs to be blown up, mgmt cleaned out and the whole thing rebuilt to put students and research first.
