Happens at my school all the time - but we insist on sealed packets given to parents at home time so they can decide if suitable. Allergies/halal etc.

My MiL does mine as she (a) loves ironing (b) enjoys a sneaky nap in peace afterwards. I have to do my own in the school holidays.
