First taste of Winter has arrived in Thurso, Caithness - taken from Thurso beach looking over to Scrabster and Holborn Head - across the Pentland Firth to Dunnet Head and Thurso East
And somewhere out there in the middle is Orkney ( or the Island of Hoy to be more precise ).
