Put some assets and a landscape sculptor in front of me and magic happens, but ask me to write code from scratch and Nick.exe stops working, blue screens, and dies.

I'm stating a reality from the industry, monetizing a game with a subscription fee is not friendly to the consumer. That viewpoint has no bearing on subscriber count or the success of the game itself. I'm going to keep playing either way, and criticizing monetization practices is entirely reasonable

My issue is less about the availability of interesting assets and more the monetization itself. Like, its nice that its integrated with the token system, but more monetization on top of a subscription model will never be well recieved.

Funny thing, the old animated movie changed Saruman's name to Aruman to distinguish the two. Good plan, poor execution.

I dont....hate it....

It certainly has a different vibe. Unfortunately, that was probably the single most mid Star Wars trailer ever made.

Genuinely making me question whether Mt. Doom had special magic lava for...some reason. Is it a buff that the lava got from being there when the ring was forged? Does the buff have a radius? Can it be dispelled? These are the real questions.

1/2 I disagree with the general business practices of Gacha games, but as someone who plays a lot of them (as a f2p player), there's still generally value in the systems and designs outside of the monetization. Also, the highest concentration of gacha studios are overseas and have different...
