TIL that AB separatists would award you 10 points in your immigration application if you didn't get certain COVID-19 vaccines. Like if you got Novavax you would still get the 10 pts? How will this be checked? Can I just shout Freeeedom! for even more points? For more, google "The Value of Freedom".

At the first Ottawa Tool Library #repaircafé of the 2025 season I went 5-3-2, back to batting .500 again!
Finally got hands on a breadblaster (repair café rite of passage), and it as a posh one...a Zwilling.

At the first Ottawa Tool Library #repaircafé of the 2025 season I went 5-3-2, back to batting .500 again!

I volunteer at the Ottawa Tool Library Repair Cafés as one of ~20 fixer/menders. They are really well-run events, with many in attendance. I am currently batting .476 this year, with 42 tickets seen.
❌ = Not fixed (duh)
⚠️ = Advised on next steps, parts needed etc.
✅ = Great Success! Very nice!
