And not just finically. Developing community support networks for carers and respite centres would go a long way to making life as a carer that much easier and that much more sustainable. If I stop being able to care for my son it’ll cost the govt an awful lot more than £300 a month

This is a great win Stephen. After the continual mismanagement of the local council by the tories and then the chaotic ‘independent’ faction I’m delighted to see the area moving back towards some sensible and pragmatic politics.
