But it only requires 34 of the 50 (2/3) states to call for a Constitutional Convention. That’s what scares me.

The way this amendment has been proposed it excludes presidents who have served 2 consecutive terms from serving a 3rd. It’s written only for presidents who have served either 1 term only, or 2 nonconsecutive terms. They knew exactly what they were doing when they wrote it that way. Obama can’t.

It’s super scary. 19 states have passed the Convention of States (Article V), 7 states had it pass in one chamber, 13 states have active legislation. I have to just hold onto hope that we won’t let it come to that.

I get it. Some books hit or they don’t! Thanks for the honest review. If you’re into time travel/multiple dimensions then you’ve probably already read this one, but Dark Matter is fantastic. I read it back in 2016. Easily one of my favorite books ever.
