Yeah you definitely don't know him. He's very against that fascism stuff. He's not a political extremist in any direction, hates how racist and sexist attitudes have gained steam in Catholic circles lately, etc. He and I have had conversations about that. We both find it disturbing.

Craig's a great guy, humble, thoughtful & honest. He's also quite brave imo. He likes to approach touchy subjects w/ humor, which rubs some ppl wrong, but he's laying himself bare before harsh hushers, providing a rare glimpse into a common struggle for many believers & aspiring believers.

I don't think it's necessarily stupidity tho. I agree it's ridiculous and flies in the face of evidence & reason, but tbh I kinda think that also describes general faith in God, & I'm clinging onto that with a defiant hope anyway.
