15th December 1944. The Big Band leader Glenn Miller took an undeclared ‘casual’ flight in a UC-64 Norseman, bound for France. The aircraft failed to arrive, but wasn’t declared missing until 18th December. An official inquiry subsequently blamed pilot error, poor weather or mechanical failure.

Brrr! With temperatures plunging, here's how we can help wildlife weather the cold. ❄️
