It'll no doubt do well as long as it's decently priced, but the Steam Deck only sold like ~6 million units, and the average joe isn't going to jump ship.

I'd LOVE nothing more than to be wrong, but think logically about it for like five seconds.

Mind you I'm WILDLY excited for it and I'm even selling my PS5 for one, but I'm sorry the niche digital only miniPC available only on the Steam storefront with no marketing push to appeal to general audiences outside the PC space is maybe not about to be an actual console killer.
