We're pleased to announce that @uclofficial.bsky.social will be offering a fully-funded PhD studentship (with stipend), in partnership with the English Folk Dance and Song Society.
For further description, specific candidate requirements and how to apply, go to: bit.ly/3ZKMggt
The doubling funds may all have been allocated, but until midday on Tues 10 Dec you can still donate to this campaign. All further donations will help us to extend our cataloguing of folk music archives.

‘Hidden Gems’ focuses on three important dance and song collections which have already been donated to our Library’s archive. We want to make them available to everyone.

Hello, BlueSky! 👋
We’re a big, ambitious amateur symphony orchestra based in west London.
Our last concert featured birdsong in Rautavaara’s ‘Cantus Arcticus’, Lutosławski’s dazzling Fourth Symphony, the folk-inspired ‘Suita Rustica’ by Kaprálová, and Martinů’s big-hearted Fourth Symphony.
