The GOP’s primary goal all along has been to lower taxes for the rich, to further fill their pockets beyond bursting. All of the reactions and plans to suppress/deny/abuse minorities is a gross distraction from their main goal.

The fact that nobody is talking about is that corporations and billionaire CEOs contribute to BOTH the GOP and DNC. Therefore both parties are bought. They fundraiser most successfully when there are travesties going on, which distract from the real problems.

The ultimate irony would be if health insurance CEOs were denied life insurance because of the extra risk. That would give them a taste of their own medicine (you see what I did there?).

I’m sure there are *some* Canadians who might want this, but they must either be billionaires or people who have zero experience living in the American system. I am a Canadian who lived/worked in the US for 20 years and it is so VERY flawed. I am so happy to be home.

In the past, when allegations of sexual misconduct (or worse) were brought to light, nominees and politicians were shamed into disappearing. Nowadays, they have no shame.

Am I the only one who is thoroughly sick of Trump dominating the news? I honestly think that if people would just ignore him, he would move on to another profession and tank another business. That would be such a relief.

34 seems like a lot of felony convictions…. It is surprising that they are not talking about deporting anyone with 30+ felonies rather than innocent, immigrated people who follow laws and just want a better life.

The UCP (ie. Conservatives) in Alberta, Canada criticize the liberal government for promising $200 tax rebate checks (for families who earn less than 150K/year) and sales tax break on groceries and toys to help over the holidays.
Obviously, they only like hand-outs for the rich.
