Went to an Air India bombing memorial yesterday at Queens Park. Remembering our close friends Ruby, Anita, and Arindam Das. Shed some tears for the lives lost 40 years ago.

Toronto Kalibari is always on the forefront of change. This year they did pushpanjali with no flowers. We were asked to “imagine” we had flowers for Durga Puja. Sob!

Went to a very disorganized Durga Puja last night. But seeing so many sweet little children being sweet little children made me so sad. Thinking of all the children who have lost that in Gaza and Israel.

Got to Peggy’s Cove and hiked by Polly’s Cove just a short drive away today. Also went to Mahone’s Bay and Lunenburg. Full day of Nova Scotia vacation.

Something personal. I made these! The few successes in my pottery class, which was otherwise a fiasco. Yup, throwing pottery is definitely harder than it looks.
