Lifetime Democrat. Pissed off boomer. Dog rescuer. I love birds. Sweet home Chicago.
Well, but Lady Cassandra claimed to be the last human. I’m not sure those in species Magaface can make the same claim.

Absolutely. This needs to be played on a repeating loop. This betrayal by Schumer was all a plan. The 8 Senators were picked because they were either retiring or not up for election next year. They only need us to get elected. After that, it’s stock tips and corporate money. I’m so disgusted.

Did Schumer et al know this while they were arranging the betrayal?

Spending Bill Would Pave Way for Senators to Sue Over Phone Searches
Republicans have voiced outrage that Jack Smith looked at G.O.P. lawmakers’ phone records surrounding the Jan. 6 attack. Legislation to reopen the government would allow them to sue for $500,000 each.

The 25th Amendment can only be invoked by the VP and a majority of the Cabinet. Chances of that happening—- slim to none. Those around him are perfectly happy with the status quo. They can control an increasingly befuddled POTUS

Oh! I didn’t know there was another variety. I’m off to the store!!

By ‘key constituencies’ do they mean the big money, power grabbing democrats? They’ve been trending more elitist for years and just get more strident about agreeing to everything they’ve determined the no-longer-middle-class Democratic Party is

If the Republicans make a deal, do you really believe they’ll hold to their word after going back on it EVERY OTHER TIME?? Apologies for shouting. I’m so frustrated with the Democratic Party/leaders/lack of focus/…. etc., etc.

Came here to say this.

Yes. Big tent and wide gate. Less condescension, more welcoming.

The problem isn’t the MAGATS, it’s the mainstream media.

Thanks, I’m going to make a pizza run. Now, if I could get some beer from Three Floyds or Flossmoor Station, I’d be all set.

Thanks, I just checked the HRI website and some varieties are available at Safeway or Walmart.

Ate at the restaurant once. I don’t know if the pizzas are available where I currently live.

Artese was just down the street from his house and Damiani’s was across the street from his grade school.
May 8, 2025 at 10:40 PM
Yes it does. Some of us like the edges and some like the middles.
May 8, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Damiani’s or Artese
May 8, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Well, I like Lou Malnati’s, but prefer thin crust as a rule.
May 8, 2025 at 10:34 PM
All of the neighborhood pizza joints were thin pizza. I never had deep dish until I was in my 30’s, at least. It drives me crazy when people only talk about deep dish and Chicago pizza.
May 8, 2025 at 10:34 PM
Tavern style, I’ll bet. His grade school was across the street from one of the thinnest thin Chicago tavern style pizzas ever: Damiani’s pizza. IYKYK

I was wondering the same thing.
