Here are some angles of the remains of the Temple of Apollon Isotimos at Alabanda. This late-Classical/Hellenistic temple is built on a NE-SW Axis (somewhat uncommon) rather than East-to-West.

Remains of the (Eastern) Roman fortification walls of Alabanda. Its position at the relative center of the archaeological site implies that the population of Alabanda shrank drastically as of 6th/7th centuries CE, compared to its heyday 4th century BCE.

Here are some of the shots I have taken of a doric temple in Alabanda, which was initially thought to have belonged to Zeus Khrysaoreus. However, discovery of a bust of Artemis brought doubt to that interpretation. Now this site, specifically, is referred to as “Temple of Artemis (Doric)”.

There is also an impressive remains of an outer wall of an agora-turned-basilica in the lower city, within Karpuzlu. Overall, Alinda is definitely worth a visit, be prepared to walk for roughly 2 hours to see what is there to see within the acropolis.

One can see many singular sarcophagi made out of Gneiss dotted around the acropolis as well as burials done within rocks. Karians are believed to hold these elevated rock formations as sacred grounds. Similar arrangements can be seen in places like Pedasa, Sinuri, Kastabos & Labraunda.

For her cooperation, Alexandros III Megas reinstalled her as the Satrap of Karia after conquering Halikarnassos, in return, she named him as her successor. There is a somewhat small Hellenistic theatre that wasn’t quite built into the incline as they normally would be, with later Roman additions.

The elevation of the acropolis has a strong command of the plain below, which likely was its χώρα (bound rural area). Alexandros III Megas avoided a protracted siege here by cooperating with the then “exiled” Karian Satrap Ada (daughter of Hekatomnos).

One of these towers is really well-preserved! These towers, made out of local Gneiss rocks, are indicative of Alinda’s strategical importance. It may have stood on an ancient route that enters Karia from Lydia beyond the Maiandros River (Tralleis-Alinda-Labraunda?)

City has robust defences that were no doubt built to withstand sieges. It has remains of walls and towers that date to 4th century BCE, likely a Hekatomnid building project.

If you were wondering where my header is from, it is the Aqueduct of Alinda! A once heavily fortified settlement in northern Karia, its acropolis is situated above modern Karpuzlu (in Aydın Province).
