This post instantly recalls this - I'm not a teacher, but i've been noticing that 'losing faith in ourselves' thing for most of my life.

Gave Lucy a bath and she discovered that she likes getting her chin scratched. Kept putting her head on my hand 🐶

Back playing #Keeper in #VR tonight - showing a few friends how moving it is when you're right inside this space. You can tell every bit was sculpted with love.

It's not exactly like claymation (moves much smoother, like a Pixar movie you control), and it's as thrilling as any theme park 💜

Me and my best friends on Halloween morning, 1982 - Me on the left, Bingo in the middle, Cookie on the right 🌟🔥💜

Cookie was the first dog I knew had unlimited energy.

Fam would play fetch & frisbee with him for hours at a time. He was wild and free!

What about us?

One more from #Keeper, a game that deserves every moment you give it 💜

I cannot let this simply be a memory, I am rapt in awe... knowing fellow humans have mastered these tools, and created what my heart would birth, were it spread among many bodies through spacetime.

This is #Keeper, by @doublefine.com, played in #VR via #UEVR on PC. Being in here is a trip. 💜

Spent the #night getting reacquainted with @openbrush.app #VR.

Some 43,600 brush strokes & 117,111,117 polys later, very satisfying to just make stuff~!

Want to figure out how to sync audio with the camera paths tool next!

I've been playing it in #VR via #UEVR, and being inside the world so lovingly created, where I can walk up to any bit just to see it -- it looks like a live painting, words fail... the effect is stronger than some hallucinogens -- A work of art on the scale of a Ghibli or Pixar movie.

hairdo goals: moon man edition.

This is allegedly an actual photo from 1895, a 'popular hairstyle' of the time. I smell shenanigans and will spend too much time thinking about the validity of the claim (and shape of the hair).

POOLS (#VR #Steam #PCVR) is the liminal space explorer my parents warned me about. Some of the audio drones that echo off of this very deliberately paced, very minimally decorated experience has me diving back in every time there's an update - i swear i haven't seen it all yet in 9 hours.

I've been sifting for better angles of this artifact from 2019 - it was done in Tilt Brush (#VR #sculpting app). It was uploaded to Google's 'Poly' site (RIP).

I remember seeing it got a handful of downloads.

If you somehow have the source file for this, lmk <3

Exploring tonight in this glowing #green cavern playing 'Into Black' - the upsampling the Snapdragon does turns everything into this painterly but still realtime impressionism that makes it all feel a little pre-rendered, if I saw this in 1996 my game-brain would pop.

What is the highest metacritic review score in your steam library? You can sort it this way - view all games then there's a 'sort by' filter.

All these years later, and nothing seems to top HL2, Portal, Quake, Bioshock Infinite and 2 Elder Scrolls games.

Have critics gotten harsher?

Facebook is generally all over your junk to a frightening degree. I don't like using it. They probably break laws constantly. I remember answering this email from a class-action suit that sounded semi bogus... but today, victory! $35 bucks!

and at the right time, too - Rent is due in 4 days.

Enjoyed 'Into Black' in #VR tonight. This is a very nice place to be.

I was such a weird kid, I was laughing at this comic that was mostly about politics when I was 9 years old.

'Abzu' is like Fantasia but playable realtime. Changed the world scale in VR to make it seem miniature, a thing of beauty.

The studio that made this, has a new one coming out tomorrow called 'Sword of the Sea'. The level of mastery is immense. $5!
