The American Revolution, Ken Burns’ next project starts Sunday night on PBS. It looks to be another masterpiece by Burns. And no whitewashing of history eithere!

A racist, butt hurt narcissist was offended because a black President made a joke about him at the WH Correspondents dinner in 2011. And the vendetta began.

Rest in peace, Pauline Collins-hopefully on a sunny beach in Mykonos. Thank you for Shirley.

Haven’t been to a movie in an actual theatre in ages, but this is Bruce and attention must be paid. It was so good and all of the cast was fantastic.

Now if you’re of a certain age you know the Ed Sullivan show and the impact it had on America culture. But even I hadn’t realized how his views on civil rights changed hearts & minds. It’s a great documentary on Netflix now.

I love music and I love the history behind the making of some of my favorites. This documentary on the life and artistry of Billy Joel’s career is just great. Part one is now streaming on HBO/MAX.

It’s a balmy 111 degrees in lovely Phoenix and it’s just the start of summer. Oh well, better than shoveling snow.

It’s sobering to watch movies depicting events you lived through and remember. Well. , I finally got around to watching this one yesterday. It was good and the cast did a great job. Also nice to see my hometown used for some of the locations. It’s free on @Hulu and the music’s great.

Holy shit, what an amazing series. Incredible writing and acting by Stephen Graham and newcomer Owen Cooper in his first role. It’s dark, gritty and bloody exhausting but so good!
