The Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) Handbook for Residents is now available for free in a Phoenix Library Branch near you! Available in English and Spanish, grab a copy for ideas on adding stormwater harvesting to your yard. The Handbook is also available online at www.phoenix.gov/pdd/gsi.

What better way to celebrate Earth Day than by planting native plants for pollinators! There's a wide range of gorgeous native flowering plants that flourish here. Fairydusters, chuparosa, and desert marigold are a few local examples. Remember to add native milkweed for monarch butterflies!

We have monarch caterpillars at our monarch waystation in downtown Phoenix! Want monarchs to visit your yard? Plant some native milkweed! Milkweed is the only plant monarch caterpillars will eat, so it’s essential for their survival. Learn more at phoenix.gov/oep/monarch.
