I made one at a previous meeting. I think we used water to soften the craft stick and then twisted it.

It works better if they stand close to the sheet. Also, it’s hard to clean raw egg off the floor while wearing roller skates.

Once I did it inside and had them stand far from the full-sized sheet. A pitcher for our baseball team threw the egg really hard…and missed the sheet. The egg flew just over the top & shattered with bits up to ten feet away, yolk running down the white board. Did the whole team hear about it? Yes

The book is amazing (though tough to read in parts due to the awful treatment). The book has an interesting literary element that probably doesn't work in the movie.

We had DST one winter when I was in high school. I had to bike to school in the dark. It was worse for younger children.

I can understand not wanting to spend two years training when you are close to retirement. I hope things work out for you and your family.

Would you need that much training to work at a private or religious school? The Catholic school in the US where I taught would take someone without a teaching license and give them about 5 years to get a license. Also public schools have alternatives for people who can teach science or math.

If you have taught introductory physics at the college level, teaching it to high school seniors wouldn’t be that different. Except maybe for parent teacher conferences…

Have you considered teaching physics or chemistry at the high school level? Schools are desperate for science and math teachers. I loved my 25 years of teaching high school physics.

The medical community says that ending DST would be healthier than making DST permanent.

That's an impressive list! Since you have Phyphox, maybe add Physics Toolbox by Vieyra Software.

If you have iPads, I think those would work.

The water looks like it is vibrating. Is it actually hot? What is the voltage of the primary?

What kind of dog is this? When I was a kid, we had a dog that looked a bit like this. Our dog was a mutt, but I'm always curious what breeds might have been part of her make-up.
