There’s even a direct benefit to car owners I haven’t heard touted: no more garbage juice or paint scratches on your car as sanitation workers throw/drag the bags over your hood. Nobody wants to park next to a huge pile of garbage that has to get moved over your car!

It's a little easier to read when you realize the colors go around the pie charts clockwise from the top when you read the options left to right, top to bottom. But agreed the color choices are v confusing and not good!

These states are where most detainees are moved to after being detained, not where they're initially arrested. The release says they'll be focused on "processing of illegal aliens at ICE detention facilities". I don't think it has anything to do where enforcement is going to focus next.

I love Riverside Park even with the noise but I completely agree the road noise is a huge drag. And there aren’t even trucks on the WSH/Henry Hudson! The problem is even worse at parks near truck routes.

Are these not just the usual deportation flights for people ordered removed under the Immigration and Nationality Act? Those have not been restricted by the courts.

Counterpoint: There are generally lots of hotels and parking lots near airports and everyone would be much better off if people staying or parking in them did not need to rely on taxis or shuttles to get to an airport a half mile away. That's not to say they need full on open streets though lol

Gotcha, that would be reasonable

(I’m pro congestion pricing to be clear, and agree with your overall point)

Doesn’t bonding the revenue make this much less reversible?
