When you live in a small community an event like a Christmas tree lighting takes on special meaning. This was the 10th year of the annual tree lighting in Adrian Michigan.The entertainment before the lighting was local choir students. So the event becomes a family affair.

I believe if you always have your camera with you, you will be more likely to capture great photo ops when they happen in front of you. I stopped for coffee today to see this man reading from some great window light.
