I don’t know about where you’re at but there’s a few Miata groups around me that do Miata meets. Fun seeing a swarm of Miata’s on the highway lol

I’ve gotta say though I have a Miata and once you’re in it’s pretty good for headroom. I’m 5’11” and I have like 4 1/2” of head room above me getting in and out is another story though

Miata’s are actually remarkably reliable. For a 35 yeah old car that was already in rough condition when I got it, I’ve only had a handful of issues and all of them have been cheap parts and easy to fix

Didn’t know Miata bolts was you. I had kind of a silly idea but making grab bags of the most common nuts and bolts or ones that are known to snap. Like fender/bumper bolts, mirror bolts, those plastic clips for the interior, etc. just a handful of those to have on hand

I do the foot dance trying to find the clutch pedal when I get in or to down shift on the exit ramp if I drove on the highway for a long time.

I’m so glad it is here already, so nice having the top down. Although my hair gets all tangled if I forget a hair tie. :/

Also the other main reason we dont see pop up headlights is we don’t have the same restrictions required standardized headlight shapes so the new headlights are more aerodynamic than pop ups and don’t have the mechanical failure point of the motors, hinges, wire bending, etc.

To be devils advocate. The headlight safety concern was European and the same place banned cyber trucks.
