7yrs is probably too long a term then some (most) go for a second term that's 14 years. Two (consecutive terms) lasted just over a year and Mary Robinson didn't finish her first term.

We know their time is managed but do we really need Beirne to beat Fiji, could another player be given a chance.

And yes, yesterday was a good thing, more so when you look at Ulster's win away in SA. Unfortunately, it's hard to see the players getting any attention from Farrell

Where do you see the changes that will leave us anywhere near well poised RWC27.
We're flogging Beirne, Aki, Furlong, Lowe, etc, if fit, they start. Hansen too but he's younger. Starting Beirne v the likes of Fiji is always a head scratcher but always defended.

Different coaches but pretty much the same squad as what was beaten last night and beaten by NH last season, it must be a concern.

True but what happens when Ireland are being beaten up front? Last night was worrying for Ireland, no speedsters, no punch, takeaway scrum penalties and it's hard to see where Leinster get their platform

The killing thing about all this if Gavin's name remains on the Ballot Paper he'll be used for spoiling the vote, he might even be elected after withdrawing from it.
