Kindred is what absolutely sold me on her. I read Parable of the Talents first, and it took me a hot second. But Kindred - holy moly. I finished it in a single sitting because I just couldn’t help myself.

I tell a lot of people, finding a therapist is like dating. If after three “dates,” you aren’t feeling seen and heard, it’s time to move on. It doesn’t mean anyone is “bad,” it just means you’re not compatible.
