Ha ha yeah the only old one I know is The Days of The Phoenix which was played a bunch on M(tv)2 during the Forgotten Times. Indeed the chorus was “whoa-oh-ohhhh-oh” 🤣 Shocked to discover it’s the same line up. Thought it’d be Marillion-esque different front man / different era situation.

Totally agree, I really enjoyed it and I’m not usually into the Daniel Craig Bond stuff.

It’s a fun premise but everyone involved was too comfy as a celeb at that point and the effort or drive needed to make it work just isn’t there. There’s none of the nuance or minutiae that made the other Pegg/Wright stuff so watchable. It felt like they no longer knew the price of a pint of milk.

Yeah it was great fun. Also chuffed for my youngest son as he’s the huge Godzilla fan in the house and this was one of the few he’s not managed to see.

Country House. Oddly derided and slightly forgotten these days but an expertly crafted Kinksy character piece of song with a considered arrangement and instant classic chorus. They were of course starting to fall into self parody but I feel it’s still classic blur here.
