(also, in addition to the theme update that I needed to figure out I was also taking some time yesterday to get basic site backups to work which I finally got around to after seeing a theme update that screwed with my head a bit lmao)

point I didn't feel was warranted to drag out work on the chapter after having already taken this long. I want to finally get working on new chapters soon, which going forward should be shorter and hopefully have somewhat quicker turnaround times

You might notice this time around I didn't end up publishing the chapter with a new cover page like I have before. I tend to do these at the end, and in this case the cover wasn't coming out quite right in a way that would have required a lot of extra study and effort to fix up, which by this -

with each update usually being 2 or 3 pages. This is basically to make each update feel slightly more substantive while not burning so quickly through the buffer that as you might have been able to tell took WAY too long to build up 😂

it's something that would probably benefit me in the long run but ugh I also don't really wanna pick up PHP and spend a bunch of my own limited free time+energy on new development 😩

Once I figure out one resolution or another I should be able to start publishing the first several pages and start the update schedule and in the shorter term I'm probably gonna avoid future theme updates from this guy, longer term not sure if I might need to just develop my own layout...

also wew those views sure did slow down when I finally disallowed a bunch of automated scrapers lmao

I fiddled with the upload date that was set on that spread to at least fix the order of pages 😅 I think for the time being I'll keep the intended next couple of update dates (i.e. just 2 updates in January)
