I recall a time where I nearly died from having an obstructive kidneystone.
From the moment I was discharged, I told myself “no more soda, ever.”
I was also 16, so that’s cool.
Now I have to get ultrasounds of my kidneys every 2-3 years to verify I’m not growing any new friends.

I almost horrifically injured myself because of a bedpan once, but I don't think that would've killed me.

Man, nobody told me there's like 4 different versions of Moomin.
It's a shame only two of them have been translated, the other two are Japanese only, and as far as I know, the 1960's version has no subtitles. :(
