And it is very harmful for people who actually have the trauma that leads to this kind of condition. saying "oh, that guy is inconsistent he must have DID" makes it harder for people who really struggle with it to figure out what is going on, and it also attaches really gross stigma to the condition

Do all of yours have internal self images? Not everyone over here does. But of the ones who do, it can be pretty challenging.
