I finally did it. I'm a real Jamie player now (don't look at my win rate)

Tunic was incredibly charming and playing it was great for about 75% of its runtime. I can see why it's so highly regarded and the discoverability and aha moments are fantastic. I'm glad that I played it and am curious what this developer will do in the future.

Finally finished Chained Echoes. It took me a while to chip away at it but overall it was a good game! It was a bit long and the story kind of lost me at some point but I’m glad I played it. Definitely scratched that JRPG itch and I loved its mechanics. Interested to see the DLC!

Haven’t been playing many games but I have been spending time with Civ 5 in lieu of Civ 7. It’s been very fun revisiting. Vox Populi soon? 🤔

After another 30 hours of Skyrim, I'm still impressed by how immersive it is. Mods help, obviously, but to say I had a great time going back and playing would be a huge understatement. Looking forward to going back in a few months to wrap up all the things I left behind.

As someone who enjoyed the first game, it's no surprise that I vibed with Hellblade 2. The visuals were astounding and I was immediately pulled into the narrative. Ninja Theory did a great job blending surrealism and heart and I can't wait to see where Senua goes from here.

Hyper Light Drifter is a good, albeit flawed, game. I generally enjoyed it and have always loved the game's aesthetics and world. The gameplay was fun but inconsistent. Still, I'm glad I finally sat down to finish it after numerous starts/stops.

Death's Door was an excellent game that was short and sweet. Everything from the music, gameplay, character designs, and humor was nothing short of charming. I enjoyed every minute and was consistently impressed. Can't recommend it enough!

See a cool new Rom Hack with interesting features

Described by players as more frustrating than interesting since the AI uses annoying strategies

First up: Sea of Stars

I really wanted to like this game because of its beautiful aesthetics and music but the game was plagued by shallow characters/gameplay that felt overly repetitive and needlessly time consuming. While there was high potential, the game never reached it.
