As someone with an eating disorder, let me just say that Thanksgiving is one of the most difficult holidays. Please be conscientious about what you say about bodies and food. Other people's bodies and what they eat are none of your business.

My son sent me a picture of him with the school mascot at his college's basketball game tonight, and seeing his smile was literally the best thing that's happened to me in some time. Love him so much. He's a fighter. <3
