The 2025 MSU PhmTox ASPET Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows program got under way May 19. Over the next 10 weeks, nine undergraduate students, under the mentorship of a department professor, will do research in pharmacology, toxicology, drug development and environmental health.

Congratulations to doctoral candidate Adriana Ponton-Almodovar who was awarded the Barnett Rosenberg Assistantship in Biological Science. Dr. Rosenberg was key in developing the chemo drug cisplatin in 1978. Adriana's research looks at new ways to deliver chemotherapy to women with ovarian cancer.
