Universal basic income is nothing less than a goddamn human right just as much as universal healthcare and education are. And I don't care if anyone works less because we should be working less. We should have shorter weeks instead of bullshit jobs. We have the productive capacity to meet ALL NEEDS.

He could turn the picture to the wall when granny visits - thus revealing a Pamela Anderson 'portrait' that reveals her... cleavage?

You have presumably heard of Tom of Finland?
Or are you too young?
Tom of Finland: Who is the gay icon?
What began as an artist’s pursuit of sexual liberation has transformed over the decades into an emblem for gay rights, Kashmira Gander writes

I’m so sorry to hear how the little snowflake journalists at the Torygraph are worried about their futures. When the Tories were destroying lives and now Reform are intimidating anyone who doesn’t look English to them, they cheer from the rafters. Boo bloody hoo fascists

Given the scale of yesterday's attacks on Kiev, I am grateful that the number of deaths isn't much higher.
We see pictures of people in metro stations, but the early warning systems (sirens, SMS, etc.) must be good.
As must the provision of shelters.

Reuters put together a little montage of some of the terror Kyivans were exposed to during the night of hell.

By the way - I don't apologise to Reuters. It invests in Russia, has registered another trademark there recently, so should at least give more back to the victims.

One of the heaviest bombardments Kyiv has ever known dominated yesterday's thread and the start of today's.

But Ukraine also continues to pick-off financial targets inside Russia

It all made for one of the longest🧵 so far - the least you can do is read it!

I believe that the intention was for "Your Party" to be a temporary name.
But that their internal politics means that the Sultana/Corbyn show can't even get round to deciding a permanent name.
Doesn't exactly bode well for them becoming the 'Party of Government' in the future...

Certainly while the UK has FPTP.
With polling showing so many parties on similar percentages, it would actually be to Labour's advantage to use it's majority to implement PR.
