You can check the cable, if its a high refresh rate monitor it might be wonky. Also check if the refresh rate of your monitor is set to "automatic". If yes, turn it off and put it to 144 or whatever that monitor is.

Classic Dad things. I remember my dad wanting to "Get rid of the weeds in the garden" and told me to meet him at 9AM. When i came, he was already done, having started at 5AM. Then we proceeded to Build a freaking Shed there.
