I get teary-eyed with pride for humanity whenever I hear this. Dude was the most brilliant musician in the world and was struck with deafness. He never heard a single note of his last symphony . . . but he 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 the music with every fiber of his being.

I just finished the book "I, Claudius" and WOW! I haven't enjoyed a book that much in a long time. Could barely put the darn thing down . . . it was heartbreaking, hilarious and fun. If you enjoy #Roman history, don't wait to read this classic historical novel! 🏛️📚
