Sixty years ago this week I had my first bellringing lesson. Wow, what an impact that almost chance happening (I only went to watch!) has had on my life. Many thanks to this group, especially to my friend David and of course Alan, both sadly like many in this picture no longer with us.

Knitting for bellringers, splicing a new tail end in to one of our bellropes. The replacement rope is 'soft laid', not wound quite so tightly on the rope walk

In lockdown we had a turkey & cranberry pasty on Christmas Day, in the lay-by above Watergate Bay!

Every so often I do some baking (which I totally realise is completely different from having to do it to keep the family fed). Recipe from Facebook, two eggs, oatmeal, apple & raisins, no flour, no added sugar; healthy & delicious!

An enjoyable Pydar Improvers (aka PIMPS!) #bellringing practice this morning at Perranzabuloe. Rounds & call changes in a friendly & supportive environment. Lovely bells and lovely refreshments too!

With the tower bells at St Mawgan currently out of action while the clappers are being refurbished and the bell bolts replaced, the ringers welcomed the congregation this morning with handbells
