That might be. But I would say over 30 years of being in the classroom, this was a first. Now, it could be an aberration, an outlier as the Ss who conspired are bright and very social. Just wanted to hang together I am sure. #bfc530

And what we experienced this year is students not wanting to go. Normally, students love to go on field trips. But the science teacher on my team was confronted with Ss conspiring on not going. WTH? #bfc530

Very true and totally agree. And to be clear, the expectation wasn't requring for Ss to ask questions during the lecture, we just never know what may come up once Ss hear something that is or can be connected with a visual. #bfc530

The majority of the time, I prefer the guide on the side. During my internship, middle schools were promoting cooperative learning and not advocating lectures. But I have come to realize some "lectures" are good for just providing information and stimulating questions. #bfc530

Neither have I. Just need to learn the nuances of the setup. #bfc530

After trying a few of WH ones, I felt some were filled with unnecessary tasks, and the VR portions didn't have any questions, and kids would speed through them. I see potential in the approach though. #bfc530

I thought Nearpod also had an independent option so students could complete the assignments at their own pace. #bfc530
