Bush didn’t create the economic crisis. He didn’t do much to stop it, but one of the more significant catalysts was the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999, signed into law by Bill Clinton. Today’s Republicans may lead us to destruction, but today’s Democrats will not be our salvation.
