The only way to play! It seems like they should make "with adjustments" the default, as that's the latest "official" version.
The "Civ pack" adjustments are still in alpha and can only be played in a friendly game, but are the very latest version I believe.

After three bad losses against the bots I finally won in a photo finish, red hot on my tail, the rest far behind.
I feel like solo mode has lots of luck, which I don't love. This time the bots had a lot of trouble with the corners. Before, they had great luck, leaving me in their dust each time.

I did too, but I wonder if the timer only counts while the page has focus. For the first time I took my notes in notepad on a second screen instead of on paper, and I'm pretty sure it took me longer than 6 minutes to get this one.

Sister kicked my butt handily for my first solo try, but the last round really determined how badly. If she hadn't drawn a build card and filled a clearing for the last trophy, I would have for a net difference of 16 points. But since I lost 116 to 99, it wouldn't have mattered :)

I get your apprehension! I know it's cliché, but I felt the same way at first.
Years of casual painting miniatures for RPGs taught me one important lesson though - water-based paint isn't permanent! You can always start over if you want, or just remove it completely. Perfection isn't the goal!
