I wasn't sure when I first started watching the series Etoile on Amazon Prime Video if I'd even like it. Turns out, I do like it. Not a big fan of ballet, but the story is interesting. And, then there is Cheyenne. ;-)

Stargate SG-1 with an MRE proudly made in Tyler, TX. Quite a long camera shot there.

Local theater is always fun. Saw Blithe Spirit at Onstage in Bedford last night. Preview night, but still almost as good as opening night.

This ad that I see quite frequently amuses me, since I was born and raised in Texas and still live in TX. Why of course, we all wear cowboy clothes from the 1800s and live in wooden houses on the prairie in the mountains. Don't you know?

Caught this documentary yesterday on REELZ on the Roku. Interesting documentary. I grew up watching Bewitched. I won't lie, I had a big crush on Elizabeth Montgomery, or on Samantha I guess.

I find it mildly amusing how many restaurants are showing off the fish on their menus this week!

A Texas pastor at a private religious school celebrated that his school has the lowest vaccination rate in Texas. Sorry but mumps, measles, polio don’t care about your religion. Yes you have freedom to choose. The choice says a lot about you.

Someone on Nextdoor actually asked what this thing was attached to their chimney... as in... they really had no idea.

Recently watched a documentary on the Starck Club in Dallas in the late 1980s. Interesting how that all played out. Here today, gone tomorrow like a lot of things. I asked on FB who among my friends might have ever gotten inside the club. We'll see who had a rowdy time in the late 80s and yet lives.

Perfectly above board. Settle your case for $10 million and be awarded a contract to your company for ohhh, a few hundred million in return. Honesty above all else, right?

The two hosts of the local show The Ten in DFW have been called to the carpet for their constant use of the words "like" and "um/uh" and "you know". Due to the amount of emails, producers put together a clip from the past 3 days. Haha! Finally!

From an article posted recently, clearly, he is a brilliant man of business: A recent analysis from the CRFB estimated that if Trump’s proposal was implemented, Social Security’s funds would run out by 2031.

Nothing says "good neighbor" and "we appreciate you" more than tariffs. Best of luck with that. They don't seem to be quaking in their boots really.

Shorts weather today and this weekend, probably means we'll pay for it in the middle of February. Can't change the weather, despite what some crazy people out there may think.

Have you ever attempted to record a reading of a novel, an entire novel? The number of times you get stopped on the simplest of words. You'll wonder if you even speak the same language sometimes.

Maude yelled a lot. A lot.

The mama. Still going, well, if not strong, at least still going. Doesn’t see well anymore so she listens to audio books into her hearing aids. Claims she doesn’t fall asleep.😂

Hmmm Box 2 is available now. Pricey. We did Box 1 and enjoyed it but these are one time use games. Will think it over.

America picked a real winner for the White House, eh? Worst president to have ever existed. It will take a long time to undo the damage he'll do. Congratulations on your choices. Maybe next time pay attention in school in biology, economics, government, oh and maybe throw in an ethics class.

That buy-one-get-one-free email for Cotton Patch, only good yesterday and today, really brought in the lunch crowd (over 50 of course). Yes, I am over 50, yes I went.

When someone wants to distract the zoo keepers from paying attention to them, I imagine the best way is to release all the animals from their cages.

Finally it was warm enough for my thin Texas skin to go outside for a walk today. Not bad out at 4:00 p.m.

Random text message with picture of older lady in a hospital. No message with it. It’s sad that I don’t want to reply for fear it’s a scammer. No idea. Oh well. Delete and move on. Today’s world. Best wishes for her recovery I guess.
