Lefty all my life. I was against the criminal Vietnam "police action" and the costly and downright stupid "war on drugs." Now against the Palestinian genocide, Trump's ongoing attack on our freedom, etc.
Maybe not. I'd say those who try to write religion into law are "the worst." They want a theocracy, a gov't run according to so-called "Christian values." (Look at OK and TX.) They swoon at the thought of The Handmaid's Tale and Big Brother. They are awful people who thrive on being awful.

You'll recall that Trump started denying the results of the 2020 election BEFORE the election. That denial sowed the seeds of doubt among his ardent, slavish, brain-dead followers, and gave his Congressional toady bootlickers something to justify their toady bootlickingness.

Yes they are, as are the ass-kissers, water-carriers, and just plain, ordinary, everyday knee-pad users. As always, Lindsey Graham comes to mind.
