The MLS season begins today but the fight for the #MLSTitleBelt starts tomorrow with the Galaxy taking on San Diego FC. Pretty sure if San Diego wins, they'll be the first team to win the Belt in their first competitive game since DC in 1996.
Trying to build up support for a hobby of mine on Bluesky. Been following and keeping track of a metaphorical title belt that's defended in every MLS game since the first in '96. Also keeping track of reigns in USL, NWSL, and MLS Next Pro.

Not like Liverpool deserved to win but you have a ref from Greater Manchester reffing a game in Manchester with a club from Manchester and the calls were so bad that Arsenal fans said they were bad, you just come to the conclusion that these refs are stupid or corrupt. Pick one.

Went to some wineries over the weekend in Porto. Lot of fun but the trip is wrapping up. One more day until it’s back in the US.

PayPal is a scam! Pay $1000 on my bill on 10/1, a week after Sept. due date, so I’m paid up for October before going on vacation and I get a missed payment. So now I have to deal with this on vacation. Fuck you and fuck Will Ferrell butchering that Fleetwood Mac song!

Final day in Paris. Walked the Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe and then visited the Catacombs of Paris. Back to Porto tomorrow for one more week and then back to the US.

So even with the guy who won almost 1/3 of the races, the Xfinity Series was the most exciting NASCAR series of the three. And not only was the season ruined with the guy dominating all season not winning the title, next season gets ruined with Cup drivers racing more.

Spent the day at the Palace of Versailles. Way too much to fit in a single day but I tried.

Happy birthday to me. Vegas at 30 was pretty sweet but this is right up there. Went up the Eiffel Tower and then ended the day with a cruise along the River Seine.

It was looking rough going out to the Cliffs of Moher. 50 mph winds, heavy fog, could barely see a thing. Then everything cleared up and it was beautiful. Still dealt with the wind but fine. Leave Dublin tomorrow, Paris on Wednesday.

One drawback to Europe is prime time NFL games start at 1 am. One benefit I guess is I’m sleeping while the Steelers lose in prime time.
