I've never been able to make it somewhere where the aurora is so strong. The closest I got was last year here in North Georgia, but I could only see reds through a camera view finder and in pictures. Are the colors as vivid in person as they are viewed electronically?

Since Senator Schumer joined the Senate, Republicans continued moving farther to the right while Democrats have largely held course. The Republican shift toward more extreme conservatism has accelerated since the 107th Congress (2001).

Age != Mentality/Approach, but I'm sure there's a correlation. With the lower bound for Senators at 30 years old, why does this legislative body skew so far into the 60+ territory?
