No problem - they dropped the terrorism specification only. That makes it second degree murder instead of first degree, because it's New York. Any other state would consider the premeditation enough for first degree murder (and in Ohio or Texas, a shot at the needle).

I read the entire article. It very clearly states that the second degree murder charge (intentional) is still there:
"Mangione still faces an additional second-degree murder charge, as well as a federal murder charge, in the killing of UHC executive Brian Thompson last December."

Not so simple. Dropping the terrorism charges mean that he won't face first-degree murder charges. That's reserved for things like killing police, terrorism, and mass killings. He's still up against second-degree murder charges, with a potential life sentence.

So this is a fair statement, and I admit that my information was incomplete, and I apologize for that. This was heavy-handed, misplaced symbolism.

But the only use for 60% uranium is to get to 90%. There is no commercial or medical use for 60% uranium except as an intermediary to get to 90%. And now it's missing.

Regarding the strike on Iran: I am happy that Iran's nuclear enrichment capability has been derailed.
I would be happier if Orange Felon had kept his moronic trap shut so that 400kg of 60% uranium didn't get hidden before the US attack.
