Also, somebody accidentally set the building alarm off as I was recording, so I decided to keep it in as I felt it fitted in the sound world and seemed apt where it fell in the narrative. It was a real pleasure and honour to appear on Response.

I felt that a more ambient texture of bowed vibes and minimal percussion would speak well to Rosey’s piano and the percussive elements of the soundscape.

In Response, I wanted to weave in and out of the really rich and poignant dialogue between the sounds of the natural world and Rosey's beautiful composition.
