Just binged all of Once and Future by @kierongillen.bsky.social and it was GREAT. such a cool series with great characters and such fun, interesting reimaginings of classic myths and fables, Arthurian or otherwise. Lancelot was a standout for me. WHAT a cool character.

just mowed through the fireborne blade, a short fantasy book by @bookdragonauthor.bsky.social and it was sick. cool fantasy world building with a good main character and a plot twist that fucking floored me. what a satisfying ending as well. great stuff. already got the sequel

finally got the new @restingdinoface.bsky.social book! she’s one of my favorite paleo writers and I’ve been so looking forward to this one, especially after how great Last Days of the Dinosaurs was! Super excited!

this is my father Michael. he passed away a few weeks ago and we laid him to rest with my mother yesterday. I loved him more than words can say and my respect for him is boundless. He helped countless as a nurse, and raised me well to be the man i am today. I am proud to be his son.
