I only used Zipcar in the US and about 15 years ago, but it was massively more convenient than a rental. You just found it and got in it. No admin.

I was born in 1974 and growing up never did anything for Halloween in several bits of England. Nor did anyone I knew. In the mid 80s a few teenagers looking for free stuff/cash would occasionally knock.
