Yeah same, but it seems to be a positive environment :) not sure if there is an #arted or #artsed equivalent yet. #edusky has been a good place to learn.

Curious, what you changed. What did you originally do vs now?

Great question. In my experience in Nl, Canada, there are a lot of education graduates but very few solid permanent jobs. People take 5-10 years to get permanent positions in towns they would like to live in. Other issues are support, stress, and teacher burnout.

Fun and opens up a whole range of media options. :) nice combination of engineering and design/art.

My MA in Art Ed was completed at a pretty open minded university in Montréal, Quebec. I thought it offered a range of experiences and perspectives, I grew a lot. Hard to say if it was or was not toxic, sometimes toxins can hide from some not paying very close attention.

Indie games are fun because they are short and affordable. So you can try a few out. DnD is super fun, but some of the best recent content for it has been made by indie developers :). I hope you are finding many tables to play at.

What would make a history class I wonder. Most rooms have a desk, seats and writing surfaces, equipment for projection and audio. I’d love to design an art history classroom filled with replica designs, textures, and images to engage students with. #edusky #history #postsecondary #classroomdesign.
