The first U.S. TV show produced by a Palestinian-American (Mo) about Palestinian American life, Mo balances humor and poignancy as it explores the precarity of statelessness and exile, of frozen grief and longing life. The final episode brought me to tears. Please go watch this show!

Looking back to look ahead—last semester’s advanced creative writing class produced chapbooks and we had a signing ceremony at the end of class. They learned about themselves, their artistic passions, and the process of thinking through and creating a collection of work. Highly recommended.

I had the good fortune of writing about a personal memoir of the late genius poet, Lev Rubinstein, for @poetryfoundation. He is missed but not forgotten.

Everything about his writing is suffused with curiosity.
