Got to cover the Saturday ribbon-cutting for the new Herbert Hoover High, which had been destroyed in a 2016 flood that led to disaster declarations in 12 WV counties. Country star Brad Paisley, Sens. Manchin & Capito, and local officials spoke. It was a long-awaited day for the Elk River community.
